Balanced Bookkeeping LLC ("Balanced Bookkeeping," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through booksbydebbie.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only. Financial records and other information you share with us as a client are covered by your client agreement and are always kept confidential.

When you fill out a contact form, schedule a call, email us, or call us, we collect the information you choose to share. That usually includes your name, email address, phone number, business name, the services you're interested in, and anything you write in your message.
Please don't send bank statements, account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, or other sensitive financial information through the website forms or by regular email. Current clients should use our secure client portal for documents.

Like most websites, the Site automatically collects basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the website that referred you. We keep inquiry information only as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as your client agreement and applicable tax and business recordkeeping laws require.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on the Site and a secure portal for client documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to any records we're legally required to keep. Children's Privacy
